The Seasonal Staff Conference is a new addition to the ACA, NY and NJ professional development roster and is specifically for your camp’s front line - your seasonal staff (that are not able to attend Tri-State).
2019 Seasonal Staff Conference
Featuring a keynote address and breakout sessions led by Jay Frankel of True to Life Training, we will focus on the core skills and behaviors that your camp leaders need in order to thrive including: staff supervision, building relationships, increasing the quality of interactions with those they supervise, and communication as a tool for problem solving. Jay’s team will help attendees learn to provide effective feedback, identify the best strategies for managing behaviors with all key stakeholders (parents, campers, and staff), and will touch on ways to make the transition from 10 to 2 as smooth and as seamless as possible.
